ME and MOM Kids is more than a program—it’s a movement dedicated to nurturing students 'social-emotional well-being, particularly those facing adversity or carrying high Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).

Launched at Perkins K-8 in San Diego , ME and MOM Kids blend Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) with literacy support to help children excel academically, grow emotionally, build resilience, and discover their inner strength.

About the Program

ME and MOM Kids is an in-school support program designed for students—especially those with high ACE scores—who need safe, compassionate spaces to grow socially, emotionally, and academically.

Delivered by caring educators who act as mentors, literacy guides, and emotional anchors, the program helps students feel seen, supported, and capable of success in and beyond the classroom.
