Who We Are
Our Mission
At ME and MOM, we believe that when a mother is supported, families and communities thrive. Our work is guided by a simple message: “In Mom’s Corner,” because we know that our health truly begins with mom. Through our parent organization, Love & Time, ME and MOM was created to provide compassionate support to mothers and children during some of life’s most challenging moments.
Every day, we see the emotional toll that complicated pregnancies, infertility, and postpartum struggles can have on mothers and their families. ME and MOM exists to ensure that no mother has to navigate these experiences alone. Our programs focus on connecting mothers facing high-risk pregnancies, infertility, pregnancy loss, NICU stays, and postpartum depression or anxiety with timely, no-cost mental health support. We work especially closely with families experiencing elevated stress, including military families, NICU families, and families expecting babies diagnosed with congenital heart conditions or other medical complications. By connecting mothers with qualified mental health professionals, we help them find strength, stability, and support during some of the most vulnerable periods of motherhood.
Our Vision
ME and MOM also recognizes that the well-being of children is deeply connected to the support systems around them. Through ME and MOM for Kids, we provide mentorship and reading comprehension support for children who have experienced high Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) scores. The program launched in 2021 at Perkins K–8 School in San Diego, where nearly 30% of students are experiencing homelessness. Our mentorship model helps students build confidence, strengthen literacy skills, and develop the emotional resilience needed to succeed both academically and personally.
To expand our reach, we are growing a network of student-led service clubs at high schools and universities, including UCLA, USC, UC San Diego, and the University of Virginia. These student leaders help identify and mentor children in need, creating a powerful cycle of community support and service.
At its core, ME and MOM is about connection, compassion, and community—ensuring that mothers and children facing adversity have someone firmly in their corner every step of the way.
